Terms of service
This term applies to the sale of goods and services by Hugvirkjun.slf to consumers.
The term, which is confirmed by the confirmation of purchase, is the basis of the transaction.
These consumer purchases are dealt within the Consumer Purchases Act, the Contracts Act, the Electronic Commerce and Other Electronic Services Act, the Jurisdiction Act and the Personal Data Protection and Processing Act.

1 Definition
The seller is Hugvirkjun.slf, ID number: 580316-0420 - Hugvirkjun.slf is registered in the Register of Companies in Iceland.
The buyer is the person who is the registered buyer of the account.

2 30 days right of return
The buyer can return the product purchased from the seller within 30 days. When returning a product, it must be in its original condition together with packaging.

3 Order
Orders are binding when registered on the seller's server. This happens when the buyer has confirmed the order.
The seller is also bound to process the buyer's order if it is in accordance with the product range and pricing. All orders where there is a suspicion of fraud in the table are cancelled.
The buyer has the right to cancel the purchase according to the Consumer Purchase Act, see further in Article 9.
The seller sends the buyer a confirmation when the order is registered, but only if the buyer has registered his e-mail address at the time of purchase. The buyer is advised to carefully review the order confirmation when it arrives. One should make sure that it is in accordance with the planned order.

4 Information
The seller always provides information on products to the best of our knowledge. The seller publishes all information subject to typographical, display and typing errors in text, prices, and images.
Furthermore, the seller reserves the right to cancel the buyer's order in whole or in part if the product is sold out. Under these circumstances, the buyer will be notified along with information on what might be a suitable replacement. The buyer is then given the option to accept the offer or cancel the order in its entirety.

5 Price
Price increases that occur after the customer's order are non-refundable. The price is valid when the order was made and is stated on the order confirmation.
The total cost is stated before the buyer finally confirms the order. It lists all costs of ordering, e.g. service, shipping, etc. Only special cases can incur additional costs after order confirmation. Examples include typing, display, and typing errors in text, prices, and images.
Online prices only apply when a product is purchased in an Online Store.

6 Payment
Payment can be made by credit card or other e-commerce payment system available on the hiddenworld shop . The amount is debited upon confirmation of the order. If payment for an online order is not received within 8 days, the seller reserves the right to cancel the order.

7 Delivery and delay
Delivery time is 2-5 working days from the date of issue of the invoice. The purchase process states what can be expected based on the selected shipping method.
If delivery is delayed, the seller will notify the buyer along with information on when the order will be ready for delivery or offer substitute products if the product is sold out.

8 Review of products
After the buyer has received the order, he needs to check whether it is in accordance with the order confirmation, whether something has been damaged during transport and that all products are in accordance with the product description and defective.
These terms assume that the buyer has read and read the instructions and / or manual that accompanies the purchased product upon delivery.
The customer's normal observation period is within 2 days. After 2 days, the seller reserves the right to verify the buyer's statement within a reasonable time before resolving the buyer's complaint. In most cases, this involves an inspection with the seller.

9 Correction of defects or omissions
If the product is defective or something is missing from the product, the seller is obliged to offer the buyer a repair, new product, discount, or cancellation of the purchase. Depending on the case, the path chosen at any given time.
Defective situation must be reported orally or in writing. It is recommended that the notification be received within 30 days of the defect being discovered. Due to the registration value, it is recommended that the buyer send an e-mail about the defect and keep a copy. The seller will send back a confirmation of receipt of the email.
The seller reserves the right to verify that the product is defective, however within a reasonable time limit.

10 Responsibility
The seller's guarantees do not entail any restrictions on the rights provided for in the Consumer Purchase Act. General liability for defects in the product is 1 years after the date of purchase to individuals. In the case of the sale of a product to a company, the warranty for defects is 1 year according to the Consumer Act and the Act on Liquidity Purchases


11 Liability is not confirmed unless a purchase note is presented.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of a product or use of consumables, i.e. it does not cover a product that is considered normal to last less than 2 years. Warranty lapses if the product has been handled without the seller's supervision / approval, despite the fact that a workshop and / or an approved party was involved. The liability also lapses if a failure can be traced to ill-treatment or incorrect treatment.
In some cases, individual products or brands have a longer warranty period. Where applicable, this is stated.
The seller is not obliged to participate in repair costs, give discounts, replace goods, etc. after 1 years warranty period.
The seller reserves the right to verify that a defect or failure is covered by the warranty terms, however within a reasonable time limit. In the event of a warranty being resolved, the seller is obliged to offer the buyer a repair, new product, discount, or cancellation of the purchase. Depending on the case, the path chosen at any given time.

12 Privacy
All personal information received by the seller is treated as completely confidential and is only used for the purpose of completing a transaction.
The buyer, on the other hand, is given the opportunity to receive an offer by e-mail and the seller will then only use the information required for this, e.g. mailing address.

13 Ownership
Sold goods are the property of the seller until the purchase price is paid in full. Account transactions or other forms of credit do not abolish the seller's ownership until full payment has been received.

14 Resolving Doubts
Always try to resolve all issues in the simplest way possible. If this is not possible, the case can be referred to the Complaints Committee for Services and Liquidity Purchases hosted by the Consumer Agency in Iceland. As a last resort, you can take the case to court. This shall be done in Icelandic jurisdiction.

15 Services and information
The buyer is advised to send an e-mail with all the information regarding the purchase to sales(@)hiddenworld.is to get a solution to any give problem related to the purchase.
